Rocket Theatre Group – Terms & Conditions
By registering your child with Rocket Theatre Group, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Membership
Rocket Theatre Group provides weekly performing arts classes in singing, acting and dance for children and young people.
Membership is ongoing unless cancelled in accordance with our notice policy.
Places are limited and are reserved exclusively for enrolled members.
2. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are payable on 1st of the month from 1st September to 1st August via our payment plan.
Payments must be kept up to date to secure your child's place.
Payments made after 5th of the month will have a £10 late payment fee per class applied.
We reserve the right to suspend attendance if fees remain unpaid.
3. Notice Period
We require one full term's written notice if you wish your child to leave Rocket Theatre Group.
Notice must be given by email before the start of the final term your child will attend.
If sufficient notice is not given, fees for the following term will remain payable, regardless of attendance.
This policy allows us to plan staffing, productions and class numbers fairly.
The one-term notice period applies whether or not a student attends classes during that notice term, and fees remain payable throughout the notice period.
4. Attendance
Regular attendance is essential, particularly during production rehearsals.
Please notify us as soon as possible if your child is unable to attend a class.
Repeated unexplained absences may affect casting opportunities.
5. Productions & Performances
Participation in performances may require additional rehearsals outside normal class times.
Performance schedules, costumes and rehearsal dates will be provided in advance wherever possible.
Casting decisions are made by the creative team and are final.
6. Behaviour
We expect all members to:
Treat staff and fellow students with kindness and respect.
Follow instructions from teachers and chaperones.
Behave in a way that creates a safe and supportive environment.
Bullying, discrimination, abusive behaviour or persistent disruption will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or termination of membership.
7. Health & Safety
Parents/carers must provide accurate emergency contact and medical information.
Any changes to medical conditions, allergies or emergency contacts should be communicated promptly.
Students should not attend classes if they are unwell with a contagious illness.
8.Additional Needs
Please let us know in the medical section if your child has any additional needs
9. Collection of Children
Parents/carers are responsible for ensuring children are collected promptly at the end of classes.
Younger members should only be collected by authorised adults unless prior arrangements have been agreed.
Students over the age of fourteen may leave independently but we must be notified by email at the start of the academic year if this is the case.
10. Photography & Video
Photographs and video may be taken during classes, rehearsals and performances for promotional purposes.
Consent preferences will be recorded during registration and respected at all times.
11. Personal Property
Students are responsible for their own belongings.
Please do not send toys
Only Inters/ Senior students may bring their phones
Rocket Theatre Group cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items.
12. Safeguarding
Rocket Theatre Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people.
All staff and volunteers operate in accordance with our safeguarding policies.
13. Data Protection
Personal information is held securely and used solely for the administration of Rocket Theatre Group and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
14. Acceptance
By enrolling your child, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
